Advisory Groups

Three advisory groups are located in Boston, King's Lynn and Wells-next-the Sea. Meeting quarterly throughout the year they have an important role advising on local conditions and providing public opinion in relation to particular areas.

Each advisory group can also provide important information to competent authorities when new developments are being considered. By working together through the management scheme those involved can start to ensure the internationally important wildlife found around the Wash and North Norfolk Coast European marine site is maintained in good condition.

Natural England are undertaking a Conservation Advice Review for all Marine Protected Areas. The Wash and North Norfolk Coast European marine site has been chosen as one of the pilot sites for this project.
